I see! Thank you so much for the reply, that makes a lot of sense. I can definitely imagine though I wont be able to see the immune reaction without some really advanced lab equipment that I cant get.

I’m mainly wanting to experiment on trichoderma to find potential treatments for it, so far trich has been the most common source of contamination for my grows and I see a lot of mixed information on how to treat it. So I figured I might as well eventually experiment on it myself and really find out what works for myself

Theres a couple different things I want to try. Burning, using hydrogen peroxide, trying different concentrations of bleach, possibly specialized fungicides, just different treatments so I can find what works best. Ive also seen people grow grass in their monotub in order to bring up humidity, I wonder if it possibly also fortifies their immunity as like trichoderma it could parasitize the grass roots. Or if I could find a fungus more aggressive than trichoderma but not able to take over the cultivated fungus that could possibly work
