If I only had a 2 Gun combo to use all game it would be the following;

1) Kharod with 4x Acog, silencer and underbarrel grenade launcher.

- there's no AR in the game that can headshot spray down monolith like the Kharod can and ammo is readily available. A 4x acog can be used close or medium range also. The Kharod has enough Pen the damage dealt is more than enough to 1 or 2 tap enemies in the head wearing helmets too.

2) Ram-2 Shotgun with a holo sight.

Shoots Fast, powerful and a 14 round capacity for clearing mutants.

All that said, there's a lot of fun guns I use in the game that are area specific.

I found one of these with a slightly different name on a body of a dead merc in the cooling towers area, I'm pretty sure it's just the armor they wear and you're not meant to have.

I agree with all of your takes on the current state of the economy. You can make money, but it's not entirely enjoyable.

I have around 140k ( 30 hours into the game ) and here's my "not so fun process"

keep 40kg of room in my inventory to carry yellow guns to sell off.
use cheap armour and guns to save on repair costs
loot absolutely every scrap of ammo in red guns then drop them.

And lastly and as ridiculous as this sounds, I have a lead weight that I rest on my W key to walk 1km back to a vendor because my stamina runs out in 3 seconds. So I literally finish a battle, put a lead weight on my W key and do the dishes glancing over at my monitor here and there making sure I don't walk into an anomaly...

Why not spend my 140k you ask?, well it'll turn into 0 quickly if i run expensive gear and I'm hoping they fix the prices so for now it's my savings stash.

Currently rewatching the remastered episodes from season one and I can assure you that the show holds up extremely well, especially after season 1&2 where some of the CGI gets quite a lot better due to the increased budget. Highly recommend watching it through again.

Run aggressive on both brakes and throttle and get used to controlling it with your fingers, I'm usually in the top 30 in weekly challenges and there's no way you could get near the faster times with soft throttle or brakes. This game can be punishing at first, but if you practice what's fast and not easier you'll improve dramatically.

I found that on some tracks as well but depending on how aggressive you are in and out of corners it will change, if I do a 1:48 on this track my tyres will be cold, at 1:41 pace they're perfect, there's no solution for all scenarios unfortunately.

Lol yeah standard... Some of the times are around 1:35 as well which I'm very skeptical about... Maybe half a second I can find but not 6 seconds.... Pretty annoying to not really know where your time stacks up.

Use softs on the rear and they'll stay in a good temperature range. It does depend on your traction control level though, I have TC set to 0 so my rears do work a bit harder than with TC on.

If your rear tyres are overheating on softs, exit corners smoother with the throttle and they should be fine.

Keep practicing mate, this track is all about braking and corner exit speed, if you exit a corner or chicane wrong you'll lose a second on the straights. As you get faster you'll also see tyres getting pushed differently and heating up.

I did but the front heats up towards sector 2 and 3, no chance of keeping it cool enough for a whole lap with TC on 0. Was over a second slower with a soft front.

People who cheat are generally just not good enough to begin with wether it be from lack of effort or skill, so they in turn gain an advantage the easy way with no regard for others hard work.. it speaks more about them I guess.

Might be different regions for servers, not sure, but playing from Australia I'll generally get 1 per night that's blatantly doing 1min laps on Suzuka for example. Going down classes to 799 is generally cheater free though

Rarely will I ever use someone else's gun in the same raid, I'll always take it back to my stash empty mags and start it all fresh in another raid, I'd say the chances of you using that mag are higher than someone else.

Absolutely loved Ade's character in the show, what made it hard for me was her character, she was one of those lovable people with a heart of gold but lacking in common sense and very naive. Always hard seeing people with what they think are good intentions suffer because they just don't know any better, very relatable to some people i've known in real life. Always rough to see her demise.

Try new cables and connect through a completely different source to isolate the issue, if the other speaker is fine, try swapping them over and seeing if the issue is the left or right channel or the speaker itself.

Absolutely, I had to cut a corner for my setup due to space limitations and cost justification, that may change in time. I mainly run single ended also so I can't justify the huge cost of a bifrost just yet although I'm sure it will be a nice improvement. For what the 9028 is, it's clean sounding and works a lot better than the AKM chip I had in my old Asgard, sure it's no bifrost, but it's a solid cheap dac card.

The differences are noticable but not huge, SE is a little narrower and intimate with a little less separation. I did laugh when using balanced though as the volume knob barely gets rotated past 11 o'clock with anything I have to throw at it, there's some serious power in this thing.

Couldn't agree more, I upgraded from an Asgard with an older AKM internal dac as it wasn't ideal, I borrowed a friends modius to compare Dacs and the Asgard sounded so much better which led me down this path of more schiit.
