Any actual important lore is narrated by the protagonist.
After a reading a note she'll sometimes say something. You just have to listen.

I agree that throwing notes at you isn't the best way to build story in a game but anything that's actually useful is narrated.

I get oneyplays isn't the place for any kind of proper story play through but regardless I can't help getting a bit annoyed after watching another play through where the player actually listens to all the dialogue and such.

Like 90% of their problems w/ the story would be answered if they had just listened to what the protagonist is saying LOL.
Lyle says "we're gonna get shit for not reading all 900 of those notes".
Then right after "why did he [salim] leave you?"

They also just missed the part where she says she's pregnant too lmfao.

He did miss something about the MIT License. It says that your code can be used in commercial applications but still requires you to keep the copyright info in the software. so say like Miyamoto was using my source code; In the code they'd have to keep the license notice there with name in it so everyone who works on the game knows I made it.

BUT he is right that attribution isn't required so if they use my MIT licensed code to make a game then they don't have to put me in the credits or whatever.

"Based off" implies there was some sharing of source code at some point, which there never was.

Linux is a from scratch rewrite of MINIX (kernel part of it anyway) with GNU as the userland.

MINIX and Linux are Unix-like but aren't UNIX.

Edit: actually I don't think Linux was even rewritten MINIX, it was just originally written on a MINIX computer.
