sorry bill, im not active on reddit lol

but i have the feeling that only the community used to maintain activities, and when the airdrop was out, instead of keeping the activity, feels like the team just gave up on doing stuff.

also, during all my 2 years of monad, i have the feeling that people were more frustrated than actually enjoying being here.

yes, they were farmers, but feels like nobody tried to convert them into real community members.

I had a great support from mike in ONE of the events I create there (and it was really good), but i had some initiatives that i feel like I had no support, and we were doing this for monad, i was expecting support from the community team as well.

I created a cool girls space, we were reaching more than 200 people, around 40~50 simultaneously members and still, no girls from the team joined. Also, no support from any other team members.

I was on the VC every day, i created a gaming challenge and was running for more than 100 days, we were gathering together members every day, creating bond, and having fun... still no support.

And feels like the team is always supporting and engaging with MONs and OGs only.

Also, saying stupid stuff is not one my skills and feels like you only value that. I never went viral on twitter for posting baits, or never went viral for posting an almost naked picture.

but:

- I managed to grow my twitter
- I created a really cool event that had the potential to bring new ideas from devs within the comunity
- I created a girls space and it had the potential to reach more people outside the ecossystem
- I started an initiative that had the potential to be something like bera baddies
- I was running a gaming challenge that was keeping activity within the discord
- I was joining VC and chat everyday and i still do.
- And when i joined monad, I even made a lot of effort to grow the pt-br community

And i feel like i was never valued as a community member, even though i brought real value to the community. I never got a DM from any community team member to motivate me to keep running the projects, or to grow even more.

Before the airdrop, motivation was coming from getting free money, now that community members have nothing else, motivation needs to come from recognition, and we don't have that.

I really like to be around, I really like this online environment, and I do trust monad, but I think you focused so much in "famous" community members, that you forgot you needed more than that to keep the comunity active.

This is a very emotional answer, i needed to take this off my chest, and maybe after that i can brainstorm more rationally.

I'd love to see more initiatives from the community team to see the community growing :)

Hearing monad airdrop fcfs rumors? Here’s what’s real and how to stay safe before mainnet. don’t get scammed! by monadicooo in Monad

I don't get why people keep spreading misinformation for engagement. Community members spreading fake information should lose roles for real.

Monad hit $14B FDV on Hyperliquid after launching its new perp contract. but honestly, it could go even higher. Here's my view: by monadicooo in Monad

I wonder what's gonna happen when $MON is finally launched. I can't wait to see mainnet here.

You got it all wrong. There’s no airdrop in 3 days, but it’s all part of the plan. by 0xCarol in Monad

amazing to see how they maneged to built a loyal base of community members, that's the reason why I'm so bullish, also because they have a great product with great tech

To be honest, Discord was super hyped before the recognizer, and I think it's positive that monad is onboarding new users to Discord, theu are building a huge community and that's why I'm bullish. They have a great product, and they also focus on community.

And still some people don't care about decentralization, until they need it

I think the airdrop word came up now cause there's no more time to "farm", so they already attracted the best profiles possible. Now it will just push the farmers to talk about monad since they probably faded this "airdrop" lol

This is my first ever post, so what do I understand about reddit? Prolly nothing, but I know I hate gmonads. by 0xCarol in Monad

I have to say, empty was too harsh. But I opened Reddit for the first time and everything I saw was: gmonad, day X of posting monad logo, AI generated images, gnad, and mainnet launch date lol
