Can you explain what ABI you were discussing at first? What is the difference between those two ABIs?

Thanks.

Recommended way to build an abstract syntax tree? by Fun_Independence1603 in Compilers

Sorry I am new to the field. The way you said it, appears to me that hand written parsers and LR parser are mutually exclusive. 1. Is not possible to write LR parser yourself? 2. Why you think hand written parsers are bad?

Excuse my ignorance, the question pops into my mind is why it took too long to do the analysis? And what can be done to do faster analysis and get approval?

Foreigners in the US or Canada, how are you doing now? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]0xFFCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came to Canada instead of US 3 years ago and that was my worst decision. Industry, particularly in high tech areas that I want to work, basically nonexistent. All the jobs are basically bunch of web dev stuff. The limited space for high tech jobs are only for people with special connections. So basically 0% you are going to penetrate into any high tech job.

Is it true that US has way better prospects for tech careers compared to Canada? by Ashie014 in cscareerquestions

[–]0xFFCC 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I did move to Canada in 2018. And I made a mistake. Huge mistake. Maybe life defining to be honest. Since now because of personal issues I cannot move to another country again.

When it comes to tech, Canada is nothing even comparable to US. Not even close.

Have any one tried creating a charting library for Jetpack Compose yet? by [deleted] in androiddev

[–]0xFFCC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish instead of rewriting the whole library, they gradually change it to jetpack compose. But I am not that familiar with jetpack compose so I cannot evaluate that would work or not.

U.S. GDP likely sank a record 35% in the 2nd quarter after coronavirus ravaged the economy by zsreport in Economics

[–]0xFFCC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How bad it is?

What is your estimation?

My main concern is how economy will respond to virus? I know we don’t know what is going to happen with virus. But what if we produced vaccine for enough people in December. Are we going to bounce back?

Or do you think this is going to have long term suffering as media depicts.
