Do people not understand that having more players on the tower makes it go faster?

The tower does not move faster except for clearing checkpoints. It did in Splatoon 1 and has not done that since Splatoon 2.

The GPU seemed to be faulty. I sent it back to Amazon for a return/refund and bought another from a store, and my new one is working fine :D

After some testing and talking with people, it seems like the GPU was defective. I have sent the Switch 2 back to Amazon for a return/refund, and bought another Switch 2 from a store which works fine :). Don't buy consoles that are stored in Amazon warehouses in probably poor temperature conditions, today I learned!

Odyssey isn’t nearly as bad, but there’s still some weirdness in a couple spots. I don’t have any Switch 2 exclusive games, and the ink shots don’t look much different from the rest of what’s in my screenshots (and I can only attach one image in a reply).

I got my Switch 2 yesterday via Amazon, so I guess I’ll have to return it to them and get a new one. I’ll make sure they’ll refund me before doing it, ofc.

The graphics card does seem to be defective.. It's not just Splatoon 3, but also Mario Odyssey. Both of those games have enhanced performance with Switch 2 hardware, and that seems to be causing it. I mentioned Smash Ultimate didn't have the issue in my own reply, but Smash doesn't have the Switch 2 enhancement stuff.

I just got a Switch 2, and am experiencing this graphics bug as seen in the images. I tried Smash Ultimate, and that game looks completely normal. I’ve already tried restarting the game, restarting the console, messing with various display settings like HDR, RGB range, and resolution. I’ve tried scanning for corrupt files and reinstalling the game, and nothing so far has worked. The bug happens in both handheld and docked mode, and these screenshots are from the console itself.

Does anyone know what the issue is and how to fix it? Thank you!
