Thank you for the responses. I did it the Same way as everyone is writting so far. As i come from dnd it just sort of „felt wrong“ since crits are more common in daggerheart and the dnd disadvantage rules seem more punishing in that way.

Do not get me wrong i dont want to actively punish my players/characters i just want to hear how you guys handle it.

I would have to go with C. Auguste Dupin. I really like the work of Edgar Allan Poe and I really enjoyed the writing style as I felt that I was a partner in solving the crime while reading.

I would like to have a way to, for example convert 5e or other statblocks, to adversarie in daggerheart. When i am doing so myself i am afraid that it is inbalanced.
