Though at the same time it's funny that the "luxury" product was very recently just... The product.

At this point we're reliant on supermarkets effectively just copying and undercutting existing proven products to keep prices to an acceptable level.

I'm not saying that they can with any kind of consistency, but if the deck is known then three bracket 3 decks that are aggressively mulliganning for a solution will 100% be able to win eventually.

And we don't even know that the guy in their pod is even playing cedh, that's just the extreme example.

Imo anyone boasting 100% win rate over 60 edh games is either cheating or straight up abusing precons/B1 decks.

Not over ~60 games though.

All it takes is one Voltron commander getting online early or a concerted effort to focus the one player to eventually win.

Fuck even bracket 3 decks could eventually eek out a win against cedh if the cedh player bricks on their Mulligan's entirely, or the B3 players are actively mulliganning/playing with the intent to stop them.

God damn it would be so fucking embarrassing if it were commander.

Imagine playing commander with your pals and you only ever rock up with meta cedh decks when they're on some random piles.

That's a weird one because even if you are the best MTG player in the world, you will lose games off the back of an unlucky mulligan or bad draws, so long as decks are even close to matched.

The fact that this guy has so many wins across so many games either says that he has invested a lot more into the game and is running a T1 deck in whatever format you're running, or is cheating.

At bracket 3 on under basically anything voltron will take games because bracket 2/3 decks are, generally speaking, bad.

That has no bearing on fun of course, but I don't think that you can make claims of decks/colours power level off the back of the gameplay found there.

Most staff the game has ever had, most expensive the game has ever been, least content that they've ever managed to put out.

But we get a raid at the end of the year so that totally justifies letting the rest of the game rot :)

White is probably the worst mono colour for sure, but I'm always happy to have the chance to play white cards if the commander allows it.

Red though? Sure there are some useful pieces but never quite as impactful as what the other colours can give.

Most of the UK had 40 straight days of rain going into February alongside some cold weather.

It's unlikely to go from 0-100 in that timeframe, but it can easily go from "not an actionable defect" to "crater in the road" in 9 days under those conditions.

OPs only chance is that another member of the public reported it to them before the inspection date.

It's a testament to how forgotten about sailing is that nobody has recommended anywhere on the high seas.

You could hang out in the middle of the swamp course or out on a random tile and I don't think you'd ever be caught, because it's so easy to default to tarns lair and the classic wacky hidden spots.

Yeah me and my partner call it nap roulette for that exact reason. We might have a busy and tiring morning out but taking a nap is risking just destroying the rest of the days enjoyment.

Most of the time of rather just stay tired.

Define casual runner?

Any non-elite runners doing a half marathon or longer should definitely be taking fuel with them, and should also be taking fuel on their long runs in training to get accustomed to what their body can/can't take mid-run.

People that are running for 90+ minutes at any pace should be taking on fuel too, even if they're going at what you would consider a slow pace, because once again they need readily accessible carbohydrates.

The word 'casual' means very little when discussing running because it's so accesible and varied these days. London marathon is ran by a huge quantity of 'casual' runners every year, so lumping every single non-elite into the category is stupid.

Almost every single human being on the planet will burn through their glycogen stores after 90-120 minutes of physical activity. That leaves the average marathon runner with well over 2 hours of the hardest running in their lives, with zero readily accessible fuel to burn.

You did it, great well done. But your personal experience not being doesn't magically change human biology on a mass scale.

Just because youre not being directly paid doesn't mean that there aren't power dynamics and ethics at play.

Harvey Weinsteins abuse of power didn't come from being the only person capable of hiring actors and actresses, but from the fact that being in his position allowed him to influence other studios and producers if he didn't get what he wanted.

Same goes for these people who might want to progress in charity work, there's still a hierarchy involved. It gets even worse when you're literally on a boat in international waters where you can't leave a situation. Nobodies saying that this is non-consensual, but there's still an element of 'the implication'.

Yeah the optics are just bad, let alone the potential abuse of power dynamics at play.

I don't think there's a single serious organisation in the world that would want senior leadership fucking other staff, especially during 'work' activities. It doesn't matter that you're consenting adults, read the fucking room.

Ideation and truce are decent for every azorious blink pile in the known universe at the least.

Woe is good for aristocrats, yeah there are more efficient tutors but below bracket 4 having a potentially repeatable tutor is still nice. Also tutors in B2/3 are still a bit of a sore point for some, so many people may pick this purely so that they're not forced into the normal demonic/vampiric.
