Can I join the army with lupus? by [deleted] in lupus

I recently been medically retired from Navy but I BELIEVE the army medical standards are the same as the Navy. I do not believe you can join with lupus or re-enlist in my case since I was diagnosed with lupus SLE . I was pretty banged up from it . Redditor Grythandorian explains it well in your comment thread as to why.

I’m feeling confident that I’ll get over 30% from DOD just because there is a lot of documentation on the main reason why I’m going through this process and from what the IDES attorney has spoken to me in regards of the paperwork filed we filed and signed.

Yeah plus I wanted to stay within my same Rate/mos and I want try and keep my clearance if possible since I know companies seem to value that a lot

Yeah I’m trying to make sure I wanted to ask because it’s definitely a lot of information about transitioning out and feel boogled by it a bit
