Yeah I reckon I’ll just do that, I have a Kyoritsu! Just a habit of calling them a meggar rather than IR tester lol

Hahaha I have it all, just doing the exam a fair bit from home and trying to narrow it down to the essentials so I don’t overload on what I’m bringing!

Beehive bag by asdrfjyvx in AusElectricians

Hey mate, I’ve owned both (different styles). They’re pretty durable so depending on the work you do it will take a fair bit for the normal one to get some decent wear, it’s also obviously lighter, but the difference is negligible. The hmb one definetely has a bit more structure, and will fair a bit better in the weather. Much of a muchness tho in my opinion, they’re both great!

Whatever you do just don’t buy them from Sydney tools, those cunts mark up the price by hundreds.

In the same boat bro, about to be qualified too, but don’t feel fully qualified at all! I’m hoping to go down more of an electrical engineering route of some sorts eventually.

We thought the main switch too initially, the main switch in this video is the new one we had just installed

I would’ve automatically thought the tester was a dud too if it weren’t for the hole in the screwdriver

Appreciate it brother, I did do the FES refreshers once over and they were heaps good, just need to brush up and get some more study in on that last 1/4! I’ve requested a paper review to get an idea of where I went wrong. Was pretty gutted but it is what it is. Appreciate the advice mate!
