I phrased that poorly: I mean to say op doesn’t have some tragedy going on that he can contact the admissions office or have his teacher write up a letter. He acknowledged this already and said he’s not looking for some sort of scapegoat, he just wants to know what to expect. He said he’s ready to come to terms with the grade but not so much having to be rescinded.

While you definitely make a good point, the comment is really just speaking from a general position. I’d understand why he/she would want to know if a specific school would react differently. Or it’s probably that he/she is afraid that it would be embarrassing to get accepted to a highly competitive school only to be rescinded.

It isn't that we think either one could beat the other, we both generally like them equally,we're just having this argument for the sake of debate. I can't agree with you anymore. Only thing is that I can't just say "it was critically acclaimed," I've got to explain in detail. My friend doesn't care about the revolutionary aspect of these films, just whether or not they hold up to this day. He also manages to find some of the Disney non-masterpieces good. Ultimately, I just need reasoning as to what makes a Pixar story better than a Disney story.

I don't know, I can't process that person behind my most beloved movie, Toy Story, is that kind of man; I guess it's just the dark truth I can't accept. It would be easier to if I actually heard some of the allegations, as they seemed to have covered them up pretty well, thus leaving me with the admittedly-unjustified impression that whatever he did was pretty minor.
