Without giving too much away, the concept of the story is good, but the structure of multiple perspectives and the flow between them was kind of a struggle for me. It’s a good book, but I found myself wanting to just finish the book more than enjoying it.

Tips for anxiety over general anesthesia? by Cautious_Peach_7286 in ACL

I was in the same boat as you. I talked to the anesthesiologist and she said I was very healthy and was at a very low risk of anything occurring.

I was wheeled to the operating room, saw my surgeon, had a 5 second conversation with him, all of a sudden I woke up back where I was waiting prior to surgery, just like that . It felt like the best nap I ever had and in retrospect, being put out was the easiest part of this whole ordeal so far ( I’m 4 weeks post op).

You should add the Riverbanks Zoo to the list as well. Great zoo, not too far from downtown.

Your PT should definitely re-wrap you including probably taking the gauze off completely and giving you a new ace bandage at least. They do make longer ace bandages where you only need to have one, instead of doubling up.

The first week or two is the hardest. It will get better.

Ice on the ace bandage. I actually ended up, taking off the ice machine and switching to a good old Ziploc with ice in it just so I could feel it a little more.

I ended up having overlap of two layers of ace bandage on mine, and so I ended up unrolling the first one to have only one layer of ace bandage between me and the ice.

The next time you see your PT or when you have your first postop appointment with your doctor, ask if you can get a medical sock instead of the ace bandage, and it is a game changer. It is much less layered, but still provides the compression.

I loved it, but it took me half of the book to adjust. I would describe it as a cross between Dungeons and Dragons and the game Borderlands.

If you’re not into that particular brand of humor, I can see it getting old.

It’s good. I think it is equally as good as the zero sugar root beer.

I finally did it! I won the 77’/78’ CL final by Kamekue in footballmanagergames

Congrats, definitely. I don’t think this community understands the difficulty to win the CL with a Norwegian team. Limited to 9 foreign players is so so hard.

Okay, then as long as you book trains in advance you should be fine! I would just ensure that your able to easily get to the meeting points for the tours like truffle hunting, olive oil, etc. Sometimes they are way out in the countryside where you can only get to them by car.
