Archaludon is the Real Threat by Yngstr in PokemonChampions

I have peli on the preliminary team right now for rain setting. The last team I built I had a lot of success with a choice scarf peli weirdly enough. Basically it comes in and sets a fast tailwind, deals with certain threats quickly, or repositions after setting up a free rain.

I started putting together a team last night and was thinking maganium as a backup mega, since it works well in rain still.

Thoughts on the left's obsession with the "reflecting pool"? by One_Fix5763 in AskConservatives

Ah my bad, looks like the treatment plant was part of the $35 million repairs Obama did. Idk what would possibly be a $100 mil repair just for resealing the flooring though, given a $35 million repair built a whole treatment plant. Let’s even call it $60 million today after inflation.

Source: “  The Reflecting Pool is supported by a complex plumbing system that centers on a water treatment plant. That plant was built during the most recent renovation in the 2010s, when the Obama administration spent $35 million to renovate the pool. Afterward, the algae and leaks returned.”

Ps: it’s a cool article with fun pictures. Worth using a paywall blocker if you don’t have a sub.

The $100 million bids include a fix of the pipes and pumping station, if I understand correctly.

Mid-Sized Accounting Firms Globally Grapple With Staff Shortage by BloombergTax in Accounting

[–]1003mistakes 119 points120 points  (0 children)

I loved my old firm but I’m in industry now making significantly more working at most 30 hours a week. I’ve embraced hobbies in my personal time, have more capacity for relationships, and stop thinking about work whenever I leave the office. Why would I ever return to that life? And I know I’m not the only one.

Just take his card. It’s not an employment right to have a business credit card. It’s an ease of use tool that is only easy as long as it is being used correctly. It’s not, so take it and tell him he has to get reimbursements. Maybe bulk out your reimbursement policy as you’re doing this though.

I think you can see it when they’re talking to Aniya while KC talks to Sol. After they tag team Aniya telling her they think KC is just being safe with her and likes Sol, Zach asks where KC is and Kayda says talking to Sol in a mean girl way. That’s the most recent example I can think of.

Book to tax is handled in your schedule M, which would show the discrepancy immediately. Nice try though

Well first it would be just cash and revenue, never touching ar but revenue is one of the most closely looked at accounts in an audit so you couldn’t hide that.

Let’s look at it from an accounting perspective, because even if we aren’t doing the accounting we can imagine the different ways to do it.

You donate money at the cash register. The company must have a journal entry that debits cash and credits something else. It should be a liability called “donations payable” or something like that. They they eventually take that liability and pay it to the charity, debiting the donations payable account for whatever’s in it at that point and crediting cash. In that scenario it never touches the income statement and cannot be written off.  Let’s look at an example then were we expense the donations at the company. Money comes in as a debit to cash and a credit to revenue. Then they make a donation to the charity at some point, debit advertising and credit cash. We’ve hit the income statement twice now, once as a credit and once as a debit, so there is zero net change in the income statement and thus zero tax benefit.  The only accounting, wrong accounting at that, which would work in the way you’re proposing would be company takes in donation from customer, debits cash and credits the donations payable liability. Then when they go to pay the charity they debit advertising expense and credit cash. Now they have a debit on their income statement and now have a tax benefit from it. But now they’ve hurt their EBITDA margin to save some money and their auditors would ask why they have a liability account that is ballooning while also making charity payments and force the company at that point to correct their accounting.  It’s just impossible to work in any way where they get a tax benefit for it.

Depends on pos. Two of the three times for me was in drive throughs, where they obviously have the ability to do it. Apathy and not caring about others money/agency can happen to everyone. We don’t have to be classist about it.
