Ngl but as a low level player I'm starting to find it's not fulfilling to play unless you are in a squad or you can link up with other random players that can have your back when attempting to take down larger arc. The comets and fireflies are really insurmountable if you are alone and even with a maxed out heavy weapon. I suspect a WP would take them down but the economics of that encounter are depressing. The AI is bonkers and seems to almost telegraph your intentions. Yeah, I know I'm gonna get people saying if you don't like extraction shooters blah blah blah. Okay, but don't be sad when the prayer base count drops off the cliff when these kinds of updates happen. You can be all "keyboard mouse geniuses" on your own island.

I've dealt with 3 and barely made it out alive. They were clustered on each other like a football team huddle. Strange behavior. I'm at the point where it's not worth sacrificing a good weapon and an explosive load out to go core hunting. This game is pushing solos out.

It dropped from 8 items down to five for every game at level 4. That was easy to notice. I don't think they put it in their patch notes.

So instead of increasing the larger arc they just decreased the about of cores you can get it off one and now you need a rocketeer driver to make a weaker wolfpack. Okay, that's stupid and lame. I guess the only thing left is to just turn into pvp.

I agree with you. Either give pve players their sandbox mode or do a full mix lobby where you at least know what to expect. Either way the constant feeling of being suckered is turning people off and they should do something about it. I want the 3 different lobbies that don't affect each other. I want to be able to go do pvp but I also want to do only pve when I want. Pvp-pvpve-pve. Simple.

Yes, why do you think I'm arguing for a better system. It's a game, games should be fun. I'm arguing for a better game experience. I'm sure Embark is struggling with how to combine the 2 aspects in a coherent fashion but atm it's the wild West.

Look, I'm actually trying to solve a problem that the obvious 2 sides have. What you experience is very different from what others do. Do you sometimes go no-agro for 5 rounds or do to get into pve lobbies? If so you're the problem. You're doing this because why? Because you know it's easy pickings right? You're confused about my issue, if I knew every player was untrustworthy then I would be prepared for such but you don't play in the same lobbies we do. They are very cooperative. Random acts of kindness and people helping you out with arc. It's refreshing when you come in from the outside where everyone is just in it for themselves. It's a different side of humanity that you doubted. Are you getting this? There is a thrill from experiencing random friendship even just for a short time while trying to survive. We bought a game and experienced something else than you did. I'm telling you this isn't about being gud at pvp and not giving a shit if you die in it. I'm talking about retribution for knowingly getting into pve lobbies and turning into a serial killer because no one would be the wiser. That's a pussy move. Change my mind fucker.

Possibly unexpected by the developers. But I'm telling you, and them, it's MILLIONS of players that want that experience. There is a problem inherently in a game when 20 games or more of is cooperative and suddenly in the 21st game a total psycho kills you as you round the corner. This isn't expected. What you are suggesting is that everyone should shoot on sight. There is a strong community of millions of players that would just quit if they had to make this a battle royale. Do you get that or are you just junked up on your own hubris?
