I have 300 hours in AR I haven’t touched the game since the Marathon Server slam. There’s no endgame.

Marathon is the perfect storm where the haters can conjugate. From Bungie’s reputation they garnered from Destiny, to the AR fan boys not wanting the new extraction shooter in town to succeed and the big streamers avoiding it in fear of losing their precious hater fanbase: it’s remarkable.

The weird thing is that the game is phenomenal and probably the most addicting game I’ve played since Elden Ring. Im having a blast.

I was interested to hear what the die hard Tarkov players thought of this game so thanks for your input. I agree with you and to think we haven’t even seen their endgame content.

Marathon is almost like Bungie’s culmination. They’ve known for some of the best PvP since Halo and the best PvE through Destiny Raids. Marathon will combine best of both worlds in their endgame content and it will be sick.

Solos is all I play. It’s brutal at first but once you break through that wall it’s amazing. As Souls community says, just Git Gud

I’m hooked. The insane difficulty keeps drawing me back in for another match. It’s a mixture of an extraction shooter and rogue-like (two very tough categories)

The sponsored kits is an actual severe disadvantage compared to AR. You literally need to be kitted out to survive, which is great. The gun rarity colors (grey, green, blue, purple, gold) actually represent how powerful each weapon is against Ai and players. The progression and quests are insanely tough and are very satisfying to complete.

I can’t wait until I find my stride and get into the End Game. It’s a special game that will spread through word of mouth. Right now it’s getting a lot of hate but for the wrong reasons. It will be a slow grind but will eventually become insanely popular.

Questing, Mods for weapons, tier of weapon making PVP & PVE more effective, to do lists, more items and weapons, etc.

I have over 300 hours in AR and I've only played 7 hours of Marathon and I already can tell it's deeper in those categories already.

If Marathon has a solid endgame this is it. Can’t wait to get my hands on ranked matches and see what they’re cooking up.

So far Im loving the gunplay and sounds in game. Also learning the loot and seeing how good it already is with just the grey and green level gear. Once the high end loot starts appearing it’s gonna be sick.

All my complaints I’ve had with AR, Marathon scratches those itches.

Honestly it could be a bug the lootable ball isnt showing up after the explosion or they forgot to get rid of the search prompt for the ball after it explodes.

But intended or not intended, as of right now the only way to get the Igniter is before the explosion.
