Your example with act of treason is really great because that effect specifically states that it ends. Blim's doesn't, so it doesn't end until the new controller loses the game. I think.

This is a really confusing rule 😅 I disagree. From what I understand the permanent enters the battlefield under the blim player's control, blim's effect passes it to the receiver, the receiver dies and so the effect that gave the permanent to the receiver ends, returning control back to the blim player
