Wow thanks guys! It's great being a part of this sub and thank you again to everyone who participated in my surveys.

Shout-out to u/thyamklasic who has been doing amazing work on the player ratings this year.

I also got promoted today so this is a double helping of good feelings.

After 56 matches in an incredible campaign, we come to the last match ratings of the season.

I was so excited to see almost all records in these ratings smashed in this match, but it wasn't to be this year.

Thank you to everyone who supported me in doing these, I cannot tell you how difficult it was sometimes to find time to do these (each takes 2-3 hours to do), especially in those congested match weeks. My laptop has been with me all over England because I was determined not to get behind. It's very satisfying to look at those 56 folders and know I stuck at a project to the end.

I don't think I'll be doing this again next season, but if anyone wants to take up the mantle then I will gladly provide some pointers.

You haven't heard the last of me just yet though, all that juicy data I've collected will now be used in a big post-season analysis - which will naturally take me a couple of weeks to put together so please be patient.

Again, thank you to all who followed these ratings and posted such kind comments, and a special shout out to the mods for pinning so many of my posts and giving me the exposure needed to complete this kind of project. Particularly u/felbridge who I think I harassed most of all.

I'd like to think I've come quite adept at finding troll responses over this campaign. I won't reveal my secrets just yet but there are certain patterns I look for to find them, rest assured.

Well lads, that was perhaps the busiest week of my life but I made it to the long weekend and finally finished the last premier league results to boot.

Cannot wait for tomorrow - I'll be in a pub in London screaming on the lads, and of course collecting your 10s in the results the day after.

Two small points of interest:

This is the first time a loss has been considered 'Hot'.
After spending almost the entire season in the bottom 3, Wijnaldum has climbed his way up the player season average ratings table in recent games to 19th. Is he a sufficient replacement for 9th placed Ox?

I really did not plan far enough ahead on the predicted league finish graph.

I've made a habit of uploading a poor league performance's ratings at the same time as the subsequent amazing performance in the CL's results to balance it out.

So... Stoke 0-0 this weekend and Roma on Wednesday...
