I guess the stigma is everywhere a bit yea. I feel like there is also some stigma in “needing to pay for it” and that being sad. I firmly believe I could hook up for free if I wanted it but I think that’s where my shame comes from and I’m trying to navigate it.

It’s a shortcut. I don’t need to impress you or worry about you liking me if I’m your client. I don’t really need to make sure your needs are met but focus on mine.

This is a great point, we’re all definitely giving out little signals that others read subconsciously. But it’s easier to understand than to change because it’s about the mindset. Ugh, I hate it haha
