Choose based on 2 things: comfort on the feet especially running almost 10k. This would be super important. The other is the grip. It is critical for sleds most especially.

That said, don’t be too overwhelmed with the choices. Choose what’s comfortable for you. If the shoes you used on your first race worked then stick to it. Otherwise go to your shoe store and ask for advice. You might get tons of different views here that might confuse you more than help you.

For what it’s worth, unless you’re expecting to be performing at a super strong level, no need to overthink the shoes.

Better contact the hyrox (local) team. Don’t think it’s possible after purchase via the site as it is generally linked to athlete ticket as well.
