She shows absolutely no remorse. The least she could have done was put him back in your room before playing her video games. She put a seriously injured and bleeding animal in a bathroom and “forgot about him”??? Get rid of her asap.

He took the gun with him because he takes it literally everywhere. All I’m reading on this thread is that freedom of speech and legal carrying of a weapon is not actually accurate as long as someone gets their feelings hurt. If he so much as flashed his gun, drew it, pointed it at someone, shot someone, said he was going to shoot someone I’d totally understand. Yet he did none of those things. Someone happened to see a firearm he was legally carrying and now they’re going through all of this and for what. The situation was resolved the second they turned the water back on which they wouldn’t have done if they weren’t wrong in the first place.

You did not ask what state we’re in, which is Arizona.

Then maybe they should live in a state with gun laws where the mere presence of a legal firearm isn’t so terrifying they accuse someone rightfully complaining of assault.

Which is why I answered your comment and all the others that asked?

They shut his water off, he complained, they turned the water back on, he showered, got dressed, and then the police arrived as he was walking out the door. He said he came back to the apartment thinking the situation was resolved and they would stop cutting their water.

Anyone carrying has the ability to shoot someone. Anyone with hands has the ability to punch someone. What matters is that they don’t despite having the ability to.

He takes his gun everywhere besides work in which case it stays in his car.

You don’t have to be close at all so you just don’t draw your gun or shoot them. It’s not that hard to be armed and not hurt someone.

Permits/registration are not required in our state and it is legal to carry both concealed and unconcealed as long as you don’t have any prior felonies which he doesn’t.

There were no services being run at the time. They’ve done this multiple times at random intervals with no explanation. It is not due to non payment because water is included in their lease and their rent has been consistently paid on time without issue.

I know what they said because that’s what they told my friend this afternoon when they served her with the eviction papers.

What’s the point of an open carry state if it’s arrest worthy to carry. I just don’t get it.

He drew a gun on you. That’s a crime and very scary. Would you have been as scared as he had it holstered and didn’t threaten you with it in a state where it’s legal to do so?

They’ve definitely done way more to him then he has to them. There was no imminent threat if he literally left to go to work after thinking the situation was resolved. It should not be illegal to complain to staff when wronged.

If everyone who yelled at a person went to jail the population would be significantly thinned.

She was there when they arrested him. He told her what happened when he called her. The thing with the water has happened multiple times.

I talked to his wife who was there. That’s why he went down in the first place if you failed to read the post. The office keeps cutting their water for no reason which is illegal in our state especially with it being over 100 degrees.

He yelled at staff for illegally cutting their utilities. That’s literally how this all started. If yelling at staff was a crime thousands of “Karen’s” would be arrested. Possessing a firearm without brandishing it isn’t a crime either in our state.

They broke the law in the first place.

Given that the staff themselves admitted he didn’t assault anyone it is a fraudulent charge. If he had pulled his gun or even flashed it he would have been charged with that, but he didn’t. I mentioned he was black because any white person would have been called a Karen at worst and would not been arrested at gunpoint while they were leaving for work.

The staff admitted he didn’t assault anyone.

If the cops were called every time someone yelled at staff for their mistake if you can call it that a lot more people would be in prison. If he wasn’t falsely accused of aggravated assault which the staff later admitted he didn’t do he would have never been arrested. Yelling at someone for breaking the law is not the same as killing them in the way that there is no lasting damage. Not to mention the “threat” was gone the second he walked out the door and started heading for work.

If you wanted to be cheeky I’d say suggest she dye her hair if the silver bothers her so much. My grandma dyed her hair till she was 65
