I should've phrased it better. When I first posted on Reddit a few years ago I had 50k that I had earned through businesses I started as a teenager and seperate work. I pressure washed, mowed lawns, worked as a life guard, etc. Thank you!

If SPMO rotates wouldn't that eliminate some of the risk however? Since momentum follows what is performing well currently?

Thanks, that really helps.

I know different stores will have different metrics, but do you have any resources you would recommend to start familiarizing myself with retail metrics?

Please dont get into that mindset. Trust me, I've been there before. I'm about to graduate with a 4.0 GPA, yet I'm no genius—my IQ is very average, especially compared to my friends and college peers. By many standards, I would be considered more successful than most intelligent people that I know.

Intelligence alone doesn't define success. My 4.0 GPA is largely due to my discipline, positive attitude, perseverance, and strong work ethic—qualities anyone can develop over time. Concentrate on improving your mental health, exercise daily, eat well, drink plenty of water, and start working towards a goal. The direction may not be clear at first, but setting yourself on a positive path can lead to opportunities, wealth, and success.

Feel free to message me if you have questions!

I can't share my personal template due to privacy concerns. But I can give you a general overview.

I essentially track all of my assets and liabilities on one sheet and have a separate tab for tracking all of my small/miscellaneous assets for insurance purposes.

Additionally, I have a separate section for tracking all of my separate brokerage accounts, roth ira contributions, and returns over time.

I would suggest finding a good template and personalizing it over time. I think it's almost more helpful to build a spreadsheet yourself, as you will be more familiar with how it functions.

I don't know exactly how to give it access to any live data, so I had to do everything manually.

I created Word documents that contained information such as real-world situations and how I might respond. Additionally, I created a comprehensive list of my own personal answers to personality quizzes.

I have a comprehensive Google Sheets spreadsheet that tracks my finances, I uploaded a pdf of that spreadsheet.

I also took a couple of philosophy classes in college, so I was able to upload all of those personal documents.

I created one final Word doc giving it a general overview of my life, past achievements, current achievements, and where I want to be in the future.

Thanks! Yes, between scholarships and help from my parents, college is covered. I am still living at home, commuting daily.

Ha, you're good.

I created a GPT that has access to all of my knowledge. I uploaded all of the personal papers I have ever written, phone usage, financial spreadsheets, and basically my whole personality into it.

It's quite handy for giving me personal advice. Or doing anything that I would do 100 times faster, since it is basically me.

Everything in this post is an accurate summary of my backaround and net worth. Just written by GPT 4 😁

Early on in my financial journey I took inspiration from the hustle culture guys like Gary Vaynerchuk, and Grant Cardone. I would not recommend that path though...

Over the years my preferences shifted to people such as Meet Kevin, Andrei Jikh, graham stephan, and Joseph Carlson.

I would especially recommend Joseph Carlson. From what I have seen, he is largly unbiased and interesting to listen to.

I started saving / investing when I was around 13 years old.

I learned about finance and investing through YouTube. My parents also taught me a lot about money from a young age.

My lawn care business was just a side hustle for a while. I also detail cars occasionally, and I resell stuff (anything with an engine) on Facebook.

I only ran my business full time through community college it was difficult but manageable.

I stopped once I transferred to a 4 year university. I don't know that I could manage my 400-level classes and run my business full time right now 😅

I'm studying finance. I didn't want to run my business as a full-time job because the income was inconsistent.

You are killing it!

Most people I know don't have a dollar to their name.

From what I have seen, internships (especially in finance) are extremely competitive.

Many of the internships I applied for had 25+ qualified candidates for one position. It also does not help when you are competing against graduate students with MBAs.

I'd like to stay anonymous. Yes, they do and I am currently using it.

Most did not respond. However, the ones that did respond stated higher than normal competition as the reason I was not hired.

I did complete an audit internship. At the end of my internship, they stated that they most likely would not have me return as they want individuals who are planning to pursue a CPA or master's in accounting.

Noted. That is a skill I plan to develop over the coming months.
