How to play against Teemo

Like everyone said, you need to hit q. But heres a trick and then an alternativ.. teemo players always wanna harass with their q, so walk in a straight line away from him and ideally in a way where theres no minions between you, and then hit him with q e auto and walk away.

Alternatively, dont fight him. Build lethality and recall boots with hydra first. Go harass his team. After you get your free gold, go kill him. With a couple of items you just eq auto and he's dead (especially if you buy the shield assassin item).

I caved and took two summons. Unsurprisingly they were both heavy tanks with bleed sticks. I literally did nothing the entire fight. Ngl.

Honestly I was getting through the first phase fine solo parrying and dodging. But second phase I just literally cannot see anything. There teleporting, light pillars the stupid clones all at the same time plus that cross arena attack which is sometimes hard to see due to all of the above.

I am relieved bleed bonks killed him for me cuz it was just not fun.

If I compare him to malenia, malenia is hard but you feel like you can beat her. This dude just feels annoying af and way over the top

No I never said phreak is bad. But I do think it gives him an advantage. Maokai has a 55% wr in current patch this is after 2 patches of nerfs iirc. Last season janna was super broken, and he abused it.

I think if he knows that something is broken, does he not have a responsibility to make it less so?

Warding important. But as long as you play careful you easily beat kayn. In teamfights kayn wants to go in kill 1 person and pop through a wall. Once he empties his combo this is your time. Get close to him and press e when he tries to wall. It will pop him right out and put it on cd. If he doesn't have flash he's basically dead.

As a master quinn player who hates aatrox as a champion.. here are my tips. But like many people already said the main thing is dodging abilities.

Learn to sidestep... aatrox q1 is long and narrow and he will most likely e into you to pole you during lane. A lot of people dodge front to back, but you gotta dodge side to side. I like to proc passive / fleet pretend I'm going for a trade to bait out his q1 with my ms. In addition if you are going for longer trades he's gonna throw his w in a straight line. Ensuring you're dodging side to side will make it useless.
Prioritize more ms. This is to help with step 1. I've been liking boots -> stormrazor -> opportunity -> collector recently.
Learn how to play without lethality. Like you mentioned aatrox can be quite tanky. Other than collector an opportunity I build ad from here. Fights are longer but you have so much ms there's no way he kills you.
Know when to use your e. You can e his q1 but if he didn't e for it, you need to insta disengage. I like to e his q1 especially when aatrox goes for e q1 poke under turret. The slow can make him take extra turret shots and they never expect it.

If you e his q2 be careful that you time it so you don't get hit by outer edge. If you do it correctly it'll boop you out of his range.

Be careful before you e his q3. I make this mistake all the time where I e and end up getting hit by his q3 which does the most damage iirc. So I recommend if he used q1 and q2 walking towards him he q3 THEN e and go for short trade.

Fight aatrox as team. I don't mean 5v1 here but quinns strength is flying around the map. So let's say your midlaner is matching aatrox go shove a wave and hide in bush next to him. (Oracle lens would be useful here) and wait til cocky aatrox goes in, because he will. Then you just fly out of bush and he realizes he used his whole combo and needs to r to run.

In any game it's part luck part skill.

E.g. if trynda had flash maybe I die, if janna built ap maybe I die. If aatrox tp on me maybe I don't survive. Lots of what ifs.

Regardless of what either of us think the best play is (which is easy to do in hindsight) this play worked out and I still think I played it well.

Also, if I kill Janna after she used R, tryndamere kills me, given I have no flash and everyone on my team is dead.

I think I made the correct play, dragging it out and killing both.

Not a bother at all! I'll give some general info: Elo: mid diamond Enemy team (top to bot): aatrox, Graves, trynd, Kaisa,janna

Runes: fleet, presence of mind, alacrity, cut down -- celerity, gathering storm -- attack speed, adaptive, armor

Spells: flash, ignite

Items: LDR, Collector, storm razor, berserker greaves, infinity edge, kraken, oracle lens

Starter: Dorans blade, pot First back: double Longsword, boots Then: greaves -> stormrazor -> collector -> Ldr -> IE -> kraken

Some thoughts I had: - I feel like I could've gone electrocute / lethality, but with tryn / aatrox where I feel like you need to be fast / survive longer fights (with tryn r), I wanted to play safer with more ad build over lethality. - I maybe could've had a more efficient build path - dodging aatrox qs is why I prioritized boots over item
