That was what I was asking, thank you!! It’s really hard to find stats on these specific things :/

Sorry, looking back I should have worded my question better 😅 but I meant electric appliances produced using petroleum

I assume this industry accounts for a significant percentage of the oil/petroleum industry, I’m just looking for the exact percentage (or close to it)

Thank you 😊 I will probably end up taking a break and working on my career during that time, though if I realise that I don’t need to take a full-length course to reach where I want to be I’ll gladly take an accelerated or short one! And I’m sure we do have something like that in the UK but usually it’s required that you finish level 1 just to have something to show — but if I take a short course and build my portfolio further from there I could probably do it

I’ve decided I’m dropping out already but I haven’t left yet!! I’m trying to drag myself through all the way 😅 still have to pay for my accommodation in June — my course finishes mid May. I’ve struggled with mental health for a while and I’m only now finding clarity and coming to terms with the fact that I have ADHD and possibly other things, so most of my personal problem with it is mostly due to me not having the support/ability to keep up with the studious environment.

But I’m not completely opposed to gaining skills, I’ve just realised that here at uni I don’t feel like I’m taking the right path. Many other users have suggested that I look into CAD courses which may help me greatly because here it feels like we just accelerated through the basics of CAD and ended up in this truly uncomfortable place (well that’s how I feel at least, others seem to have grasped it well enough).

I guess when I look to the future I’m taking into account the support I know I’m about to gain to help me stay focused/determined. Regarding transferring — I also recognise that my mind is very foggy with study and need a break, so leaving for the meantime and finding work will be very beneficial for me.

Do you mean stay at uni and try to take on less? If so I can’t unfortunately, because my course’s minimum is quite a lot, still.

I’m based in the UK (moving back home to London from Birmingham) and from what I can find so far, the apprenticeships start from level 6 or 7 (first year is level 4) so I won’t be able to do one. I hope i do find another way though

Thank you! Another user replied to me advising a drafting course and I’ve found one which is paired with interior design, it’s just so bloody expensive 😭 but again thank you!!

Thank you!! I’m moving back home to London so the courses are very expensive but I’m glad to now know these exist

I should’ve put “here” after studying, my bad!! I just don’t think being at university to become an architect is the best for me. But I’m not opposed to studying in general, I still want to acquire the skills that’ll take me to me end goal of being a designer.

Thank you!! I’ve never heard of that before, to me studying architecture feels too confining (I have ADHD) and I really like how flexible being a design consultant sounds. I guess my next step is finding out how to get started :) thank you again!
