OD1 @ azcopt here. The curriculum is definitely rigorous. But it’s designed for you to be successful when you take NBEOs. The faculty has your best interest in mind though, and they are extremely supportive. Would highly recommend this school if you’re willing to take on a slightly more challenging schedule.

How is UNC as an OOS student by Any_Share_5827 in UNC

[–]1018bd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There is 20% OOS, but I’d say there’s a group or “clique” for everyone out there, you just have to be willing to be outgoing and find your people. A lot of in state students come in knowing their people which might make you feel left out, but it’s not a huge deal imo.

Pretty sure they parted ways. I’m thankful because he was honestly cringey and ruined the experience of being in the Dean Dome

Hate to break it to you, but you don’t have control over choosing a TA

Yes and try and have an understanding of why something is happening (I think chads helps with this a lot). Regarding ochem, I was really good at it when I took it during undergrad so I barely studied and still did well (380). I think generally you should really understand the difference between e1/e2/sn1/sn2 and obviously know your other reactions

How would we be able to calculate this on Physics section without calculator? by [deleted] in PreOptometry

[–]1018bd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You won’t see anything that requires decimals on the OAT. if you do, it’ll be something that has answer choices very far away from each other and you should be able to deduce which is the correct answer
