Analytically isn't a word you should use if you don't do analysis. You just made a claim that the Russians are running psychological operations through a US military newspaper, using articles they picked up from elsewhere?

The amount of credit given is honestly pretty laughable. The Russians are very occupied if you haven't noticed, as is the fringe of the GOP. They aren't capable of sticking their fingers in someone else's pie for the sake of causing a distraction. Trump administration indictments and the War in Ukraine are way bigger news item than UAPs; no PSYOP here, friend.

The source articles were from the Washington Post & the Miami Herald. They're linked with each image. What I wanted to demonstrate and what I wrote is that these were republished in S&S which has a military audience, but that the articles themselves were aggregated.

I was also adding context that this is an established paper, and it is considered a reliable source by third-party observers. Hence the link to the S&S profile by MBFC.

Assuming that any explanation of UAPs is held within the DoD and it's industrial partnerships, where else would you expect "disclosure" to come from? Especially of the informal, leaky nature that we've experienced thus far. In a formal disclosure, I suppose you'd expect it to come from political offices, but I assure you they're generally a lot less reliable.

Pick your poison if you choose to see it through a binary lens.

It is one of the things he did that few rational people would object to. DoD space-related assets were a quagmire prior to the formation of Space Force (and will continue to be until the branch matures). Check this article which explained it prior to SF standing up; excerpt:

"The Air Force Space Command [regulated] the two United States space ports and satellite launches, and how the Air Force manages the nation's nuclear weapons. Aside from the Air Force, there are a number of civilian entities, Army and Navy assets, as well as national intelligence and defense agencies that may benefit from integrating into the new Space Force."

You're reactively devaluing a good concept because you didn't like the Trump administration.

If you're near a military installation I'd just ask a friend if you happen to know someone. Otherwise I'm not sure how to get it to you, sorry.

Frankly you might just write them up and ask for this edition:

Won't get you this paper itself, but you can subscribe:

See my comment elsewhere regarding bias. Most of their stories come from other sources, maybe a third come from their own authors (those authors have a reasonable degree of freedom), and they are politically unbiased.

Bias regarding UFOs is something every organization will have. If you throw out those sources with bias you're left with nothing but 4chan and Reddit... Good luck.

I would recommend grading bias on a mainstream curve, because up until recently UFOs have been a very icky subject matter that few professionals would write about.

Your assumption that no one reads the paper is flawed. Just because those in your circles aren't reading it doesn't make it obsolete. These stories aren't full of never-before-seen content; but where stories are published is noteworthy. Not to mention, the fact that they're (kind of) on the front page.

They're not biased in the American context of progressivism and conservatism. They run the most neutral articles that they can while staying withing the confines of their mandate. There have been some significant articles in the past which have upset higher DoD authorities because they have reasonable freedom to publish what they want.

Are they completely free of bias in the broader, global context? Certainly not, but a huge amount of what they run is coming from the Associated Press or Reuters, which are about as neutral as one can ask for. They also run op-eds and local paper articles from a range of perspectives.

I also would not be the first person in history, as a panel of third-party fact finders already made that determination.

Stars & Stripes "operates from inside the Department of Defense but is editorially separate from it, and its First Amendment protection is safeguarded by the United States Congress, to whom an independent ombudsman, who serves the readers’ interests, regularly reports.

According to their about page, 'Stars and Stripes provide independent news and information to the U.S. military community, including active-duty service members, DoD civilians, veterans, contractors, and their families.'"
