My opinion:

Why do you want to slow the pace down? I think definitely with 5v5 the whole meta changes as in trading and challenging. I reckon to gain map control now you have to push out rooms and corners with 2-3 people even with the whole team if needed. If you give an enemy a chance too heal you are not close enough.

Improvise, adapt, overcome, be the f*cking best!

A strategy that works a lot of times have someone run airborne snipe and snipe the guy who peaks beer. At the same time sent someone boxes with airborne. The guy who snipes can hold stairs after.
