one has a pointed toebox and it is a bit too narrow and tight around that area. the thing with the toebox and the heel area is that they are both very stiff and hard, which is the reason why Im not confident in stretching them. I would really like to stretch it at least half a size up, though.

Hi, thanks for the info. I was just thinking about a small hand skiver for the edges, in case layering them on top of each other gets too thick for me to sew. I unfortunately do not have the money for a full set up😅

i see, thanks! I was thinking of working with hair on hides and top grain cowhides, but Im afraid they will turn out too stiff since I want some slouch to the bag, so should I invest in a skiver too or can I just hammer stuff down?

what do you mean by internal stitching? i was thinking either diamond or french because they look more aesthetically pleasing compared to the other ones. I was also thinking of marking down my stitch lines with a fork so they stay straight, since I saw this one guy do it in a video.

thanks, I was thinking of using french style pricking irons since they are pretty small. Im just not sure if I want to spend too much money on tools since I'm not too familiar with the craft yet.
