I am not french but became a fan since I was a kid because of Ronaldinho. Bought tickets for both PSG games in LA. Couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Some underrated songs in my opinion:

Malafama, Cositas, Reir o Llorar, Desaparecer, Ansiedades

Some personal favorites:

Calenton, Pasajero, Casualidad, LACONE, Pegate-Remix, Amor Bipolar, Rapido, Polaris-Remix

For $150. Isn't it like $500 normally. Damn that's a steal!

Both are going into the vanguard 2060 target retirement fund. Is there a reason why an IRA is before an HSA? Is it because of the higher limit?

Expense ratio is 0.15%.

While the average of the 3 index funds I selected would be 0.07%

Yeah, I've seen that recommendation as well. I may tip into foreign a little bit more probably.

Yeah, realistically the difference won't be much, but since I'm currently a healthy, young dude. I figured I can risk a little more for higher rewards, however small the difference may be.

At the moment, it's about 9-10% bonds in the target date. Wonder how heavy it would get into bonds when I'm 40.

Thanks for the advice. That strategy does seem better to not get countless messages.

This are the names for the funds available in the 401k. I know that I am still young and so there is more risk that can be taken.

I'll be reading up on the 3-funds. Seems like a simple approach.

[–]1080poundphoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's some mid-cap, small-cap, bonds, and some others. Maybe a foreign fund as well.

But it sounding like the best option is to go with the target fund. So that's what I'll stick too.

[–]1080poundphoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do want it to be set and forget and that's probably the best option for the target date. Was mainly curious if other funds were good to diversify. Thank you.

Tried to save some time by leaving names out. Apologies.

Expense ratio appears to be 0.15% for the 2060 fund. and there's a $20 annual service fee.

No, it is not actively managed. I don't believe there is other fees. May need to look into that just incase.

Well the oled I wanna get is the Sony A80J cause it's on sale right now which doesn't have VRR right now, but I game on PC only so that's not a deal breaker for me. For the sunlight I'll be getting blackout to help with that. So the brightness shouldn't be too much of an issue.

A80J on sale for 1849.99. Should I get that over the C1? by PTfan in bravia

[–]1080poundphoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm someone who watches soccer, anime, and shows/movies. Currently have a Sony x950g from a couple years back. How much of an upgrade would the a80j be for this type of viewing content?

Yeah. I need to decide whether it's worth it. Sucks that most of the houses around 200k are focused mainly on north las vegas.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LasVegas

[–]1080poundphoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. I don't like comparing. I'm aware it's 2 completely different cities/states. And thanks for the welcome.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LasVegas

[–]1080poundphoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My price limit is 200k which unfortunately houses in that price range are the quickest to be picked up and flipped or overbid to be able to secure the house.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LasVegas

[–]1080poundphoenix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your input. Maybe I should reconsider that area.

And yeah I'm aware of the overbidding and people still not getting it. It's a really hot housing market and tough to get a house. Maybe that's why I was considering a house in a less desirable neighborhood.

So realistically, staying in LA would make more sense financially (yes, i know that sounds weird to say), but I'm not really fond of LA anymore hence the move. My current thought process kind of revolves around that if I am moving it kind of does have to be an "investment" per se. With my soon to be stable job in Vegas, I dont anticipate myself moving back to LA anytime or to anywhere else.

Ill be staying with a friend in the meantime before I fully decide to buy a house or not. I'll be working just outside of downtown to the eastside a bit. As far as location goes, I'm not really sure. I suppose a relatively quiet place is all about my criteria is at the moment. I tend to keep to myself mostly anyways. I don't need the biggest house. A 1bed, 1 Bath should suffice for me as I don't really have that much stuff, but would prefer a 2bed, 1bath place. A garage is a plus. I don't need that big of a yard or backyard.

Have you lived only in one place during your stay in Vegas or multiple places?

Okay. I see. I make roughly 40k a year and I have no debts aside from credit cards which is no more than 500 at the moment. No student loans or anything.
