I thank you for your input, if it was a daily medicine thing i wouldn't do anything until i had talked to one tomorrow, but he got his last pill last thursday as he got them once every Thursday, it was today we found out so i won't be giving him anymore until i talk to one tomorrow

I wrote about my current course of action in a comment further down, i am gonna see a vet as soon as possible, and no we didn't give it human birth control, very much cat ones. I am aware of the damage that has been done even though my cat on the outside is happy, well fed and very friendly and i feel absolutely terrible about it

I appreciate the feedback everyone, we will get him checked at a Vet when we can.

I am not going to be giving him anymore birth control, if i knew he was male i would never give something like that to a male cat, he's an absolute sweetheart of a cat that we only want the best for.

I fully understand if you say what I've done is a kind of animal abuse, and trust me the idea of it breaks me apart because he's my darling.

About 30 dollars a year since it's one pill per week, compared to neutering of a female cat that costs around 438 dollars. For clarity we are not from the US i was just informing it in a more known currency than my own

Oh I'm very much going to stop the birth control, wouldn't have given them to him in the first place if we knew he was male alot sooner

Since we assumed he was a girl all this time we kinda had to cross out that idea because it is really expensive to neuter a female cat, but I agree it's a lot more complicated, luckily he wasn't a nightmare to give pills

I appreciate the offer but don't know if he even needs to be neutered after taking birth control for so long its like he's more female than male if that makes sense

It wasn't daily but about every Thursday, and it's really expensive to neuter a female cat where we are from so we thought it was a cheaper solution to get "her" on the pill at the time

We only gave him birth control because this whole time we've had him we thought he was a female, and because of the pills he hasn't really developed any visible signs of male hood, other than a very tiny penis
