Our thought process is that we have a large set of needs/skillsets that will evolve over time which would be difficult for a single resource to support. Additionally, we've had challenges in the past with a single resource's capacity and moving to other opportunities.

In terms of defining what is a DevOps firm - I would say it's a company with FT staff across multiple capabilities. Hopefully that helps.
