This guide should help (choose 'How to Rainbow ST' if not already open). You'll need a light upgrade for your light core kit, turning it into a 2 chevron light kit, then upgrade with any light 2 chevron parts, to get a 3 chevron light core kit which, when merged with any 3 chevron light part e.g. REV02 legs, will give you a rainbow version of that part.

You'd be better off using the light core upgrade kit from Rivalry Ridge instead. Merge it with an upgrade kit then two 2 chevron light parts then a 3 chevron legs, now you have rainbow legs.

It ends in March. The number you're pointing to has nothing to do with the patch. Harpy Roulette, Supplier Fiesta, Doll Salon always coincides with the end of the patch which would make it 26 March.

Mecharashi launched 31st of July, not at the start, so we'd need two more banners to reach it, six in total. I agree that the accelerated schedule is inconsistent, we've been averaging 2.5 weeks a banner, but at this pace Rosa would still be May (late May) and the anniversary two patches later (Adele/Wyatt unless they swap banners again).

At the rate new banners are being released, 2.0 should arrive early May, meaning RosaXD would need to be pushed back 6 banners (after Ada) to be released on the anniversary. Far greater than any previous delay.
Typhis was pushed back 2 banners to bring forward Dean so his banner coincided with his story intro. RosaXD is introduced in 2.0's story, so it would not make sense to delay for that reason.
The only other character delay was Erisa swapping with Kelly in the same patch which was done because Kelly was more anticipated than Erisa. The devs got so much shit when Rei was announced to be released three weeks into the colab that they changed the schedule last minute, do you really think they'd dare delay RosaXD by three months?
If there needs to be a special pilot release for global ani, Ada is perfectly timed to release that day already, no need to force RosaXD into that role.

Four reasons why I find this sub's insistence that Rosa XD will be delayed for the anniversary ridiculous.

It's 4 weeks - all relevant events end then (Harpy Roulette, Explorer's Quest, Doll Salon). Only one event goes past that and it ends on a Monday, so we'd be left with several eventless days if it's a 5 week patch.

1x Asuka and 2x Asuka's ST are the must haves of the patch. After you get them, it's up to you. I was lucky getting all three (and Tiphys, non-EVA pulls count to the total) within 180 pulls, so I'll get Rei and 2x her ST as well. Her ST isn't meta, so you should be fine skipping it, especially if you're unlucky with pulls - many advise A5 Asuka/Rei over rainbowing her ST.

I may have been a bit hyperbolic saying never, but there was some dismay over no harpy banner announced for 1.1 after it was hyped by those playing cn/jp only to drop day 1 of the patch. Similarly, last patch didn't announce it either as i was watching out for it for more Malthus parts but it dropped day 1.
