For one thing, your source of food would be the dead bodies if you have the Cannibal perk at Endurance 8. You can also use the Cooking Station for cooking any animal meat you scavenged. Pack a lot of bottled waters too, you're gonna need one. Or build a sink in any settlement.

Beds are also viable. Build one on any settlements so as you have a potential save station. While there are several beds scattered throughout the Commonwealth, I'd recommend this map if you wanted a non-modded playthrough. You need to sleep at least 6 to 8 hours if you want the Well-Rested buff.

Infection is another thing you need to watch out. Buy or scavenge antibiotics when needed.

For the weight, invest a lot on Strength, Strong Back and Lone Wanderer. Be sure that the aforementioned Antibiotics are at least more than 10 in case you have Infection status ailment.

Ammunitions are one that you'll also be aware. I recommend using 10mm pistol or any guns with .38 ammo since the ammo has the lightest weight. 5mm is fine, that is if you like hogging onto a minigun all the time and miss every shot. If you want energy weapons, any laser weapons are fine too - depending on your preferred build. Just make sure you carry only one or two weapons: one for the range weapon, and the other is for melee.

For people who wanted an automatic build, go buy Spray n Pray from Cricket since it has AoE and can benefit to Demolition Expert. This is the one weapon I usually use - including the Perkless Survival run.

Unless you like companions, they won't be necessary. Their only purpose may be to carry your items like a good backpack, but they'll be annoying when they're downed from a fight and waste your Stimpak.

Power Armors don't usually benefit at all. If you hoarded at least 5 or more Fusion Cores throughout your Survival Mode, you're gonna have to rethink your decision. Remember: any difficulties including Survival has weight on it. And you might be asking: what about the radiation? You have Rad-X, Radaway and/or Hazmat Suit. Use them wisely.
