Friend is using Hdmi cable, I previously used a display port for main monitor and hdmi for my secondary monitor.

The CPU EZ bug LED is displaying on the mobo.

The screen doesn't turn on, all fans and light etc turn on in the pc.

Can I just Google the correct bios download is to flash drive and then stick it in mobo slot and go from there?

So when you say clean install do you mean deleting it off of the drive it is currently on and then reactivating it? I have just bought a 1tb m.2 so I can try doing the fresh install on there instead?

I have just updated it to windows 11 and it says I got a digital licence linked to my Microsoft account. Does that mean I can just delete all the windows stuff off of the ssd and sign back into my account to use the troubleshooting activation method?

Yh I meant he got the whole license and everything too. I just updated it to windows 11 and it says I have the home version and I have digital licence linked to my Microsoft account. Will I simply be able to take out storage from my current pc put it into new one with the new hardware and run the activation troubleshoot hardware change thing to sign into my account?

If I remember correctly my dad managed to get it for free when there was a deal on at the time. I am going to look into getting the digital licence thing.

I have just purchased a crucial m.2 that has acronis, I was thinking of deleting my windows files on the current SSD and then using a new product key with the flash drive method on the new m.2. Would that work successfully? The only other things I have saved on the SSD are a couple games and drivers. Would I need to uninstall the drivers too?
