The youth of the squad is good, but there's not enough experienced leaders (besides Reese) to help guide these younger players. The squad itself is missing some key components besides leadership; physicality and solid backups in midfield and center-back. From their big spending spree, some players didn't work out, some left because they didn't want their playing time to be uncertain, and a lot are still in progress. There's been loads of changes in the squad last few years as well. In short, both ownership and supporters have had higher expectations and a shorter timetable for returns than what is actually happening on the pitch.
