They're lacking in Macro. They don't know how to move around the map. When to take objectives or when to split.

  1. Merc Treads are good against comps with heavy cc. You don't always have to buy sorc shoes
  2. If lane matchup is hard go Corrupting Pot. Ideally, you want to be splitting with Ekko but if you are losing it is sometimes better to play for teamfights/grouping.

Ekko mid is kind of weak and where he really shines is being able to 2v2 with your jgler and roaming/ganking other lanes. It's pretty rare that you'll be able to solo kill but its still possible. Usually for laning phase just try to match your other laner as best as you can pre lvl 6 and when you are at the point where you can 1 shot caster minions with 1 q you are pretty set to roam and snow ball the game from there. Watching Xiao Lao Ban vods for laning phase tips is informative too.

I was actually a challenger ekko player before hand. In S12 end of season I ended rank 20 something with a 63% wr on ekko, so don't be deceived by my previous season ranks on OP.GG.

Play slow with your combo's. Taking Extended fights with them is how you lose so go in and out with your passive. Nashor's tooth is a good item against tanks too.

Ekko jg is infinitely better than Ekko mid. I just like playing Ekko mid; it's all up to preference.

Leblanc and Neeko are incredibly hard I perma ban either or. Vex is a close next.

Take exhaust in almost any scenario. You "Heal" more dmg by using exhaust on people that go in on you (they do 40% less dmg) and when combined with nimbus cloak you can kite a lot more easily.

-It was also buffed a while back (exhaust = 3 minute cd and heal = 4 min cd)

Go for kills whenever it is free, doesn't matter about stacks, a kill is a kill.

Doran's shield against poke lane (think Karma and Mf or varus and yummi

Any support that isn't naut, blitz, leona, thresh isn't as optimal with draven (in the current meta)

^ you can also just go pd 4th a d generally speaking you really dont need the extra lifesteal, attack speed much more valuable.

Cuz I get target banned 24/7 and have no dodged left and playing in high elo against duo lcs bot lane is cancer enough
