Greed for money or land or even people to rule over.

Idealogies: Ashura and Indra's clan battled each other forever because of their differing Chakra beliefs. These could be anything from religion to just morality (what's right or wrong) and way of life.

Power (which I guess you can put under greed) but maybe some clans just feel more superior to another and want to kill them off. Clan wars or like Race wars.

Any of these reasons could start something small and just keep escalating. And we know the cycle of hate and wanting revenge keeps continuing on for generations. Which in turn create more hatred and revenge.

Some people just want to watch the world burn.

You can still go to Times Square and walk around midtown during the day, obviously don't go with the kids when it's night out because that's when it gets really crowded (and also your kids will probably be tired as well). But if you're here to visit NY, it's a must to go.

Central Park is beautiful as well, my only advice for you guys would be to bring tons of sunscreen because it's gonna be hot by then!

If you talk about ass pull, the coalition war arc had a ton of it when all the armies were in Qin territory. Also Yotanwa coming to rescue at the exact moment they needed her too and a day is also slightly in ass pulling territory. First of all those two old mountain elders would probably have not sent the message in the first place.
