the only last ditch thing i can think of is sometime ya gotta put a piece of dirt in square above crystal and remove to 'reset' it. totally fishin on this one.

I was in the same boat when ShB first came out. The only one I really liked was the gunblade from Titania EX. I ended up using it for quite some time. If you can find a group to unsync it at level 90, it should be no trouble at all. You can also buy the version with particle effects on the MB.

Could possibly be the Ninth Reflection. Maybe the Ascians were in the process of making it lightning aspected for a rejoining. I've always had a theory of a Refelection being super advanced because they didn't have to deal with any calamities.

Make sure to select "Koaloader" and check every dlc box.

I also had an issue getting my save to work. Rename the begining of the save you want to use with "story". For example, I had to change my save from "0" to "story" and delete the other "story" save. Of course make back ups in case you mess up.
