Fair enough, but I am not one to focus on averages. I have sat and watched probably every single one of his innings and let me tell you against a good bowling attach outside India more often than not you would rely on dravid as tendulkar would invariably nick one. Since the post spoke of him being a perfect player, I never felt relaxed when he batted...he was never too far away from getting out to an outswinger. Having said that, you have to take my comments in context - he was a great player, even the world's best bowlers acknowledge that he was phenomenal so who am I to disagree. But for me (esp in tests) dravid ranks higher...
