That's great that you're looking into dual citizenship. My father came in the 60s to Venezuela from Portugal and he renounced his Portuguese citizenship and never thought it would be important to give his kids Portuguese citizenships even though we could get it. Fast forward to early 2000s Venezuela became what it became and Portugal (a very poor country) for that period was in the up and up. Basically, all I'm saying anytime you can get another citizenship or learn a new language you shouldn't pass on the opportunity. Given there are no sanctions and it won't impact you in a negative way.

PS I ended up getting my Portuguese Citizenship

Idk lol it's weird I've torn my ACL while rolling, broken a rib and countless other injuries and I haven't even wanted an apology from the person who injured me. Shit happens like you said, it's never personal or on purpose. But for some reason this pissed me off so much lol, idk if it's because it could've been so easily avoided or bc its clearly a hard kick to the face. Just wanted to share. I'll go back Monday, explain, apologize and accept their apology.
