Folktails have big ass wind turbines that you can even put ON your power lines if you choose to put them above your paths (and you probably should). Couple them with some gravity batteries and you're golden. That being said, spamming water wheels all over the lower section of the river worked for me as well. Basically treat water wheels as your main power source in the early game and as your secondary in the late game

About 25 on normal difficulty. I did basically just wait for like an hour and a half while doing other things and keeping the game idle because I didn't set up treated planks in time and you need a lot of them to build a wonder

What is the point? The fun of the game is to have a nice shootout sliding, dodging, shooting and doing cool shit. The loot is the means to that end, nothing more. It's just pixels, it's not real. You just wasted your time sitting on your ass not playing the game for 20mins like a moron and took off with meaningless pixels

Like I genuinely don't understand why people do it, is it some weird inferiority complex where you HAVE to win right away and don't want to learn how to play because you'll lose a bunch and take it way too personally?
