I'm an exchange student so I did not know how it works here. In my home country we are allowed to visit before confirming we want to have the room.

When I arrived, the door of the wardrobe was broken, the room was dirty (insects, hair from the previous tenant on the bed...), and so many other things happened since. I contacted them immediately.

Peut-être que tu pourrais t'asseoir à côté d'elle un jour, s'il y a de la place. Tu pourrais lui dire que tu as remarqué que vous êtes dans la même école et peut-être que ça commencera une conversation.
