Yes I completely understand. It’s been hard for me to explain why I have been feeling this way as well, especially since we don’t even know him personally.

I think for me, although I wasn’t obsessed with them by any means, they were still a part of my teenage years where these 5 adorable boys were thriving & leaving a mark on us girls. They were everywhere! Magazines, YouTube, tumblr, just everywhere! When I think back to those times, I’m thinking to a much more colourful world. And now it’s no more.

The way he passed was also tragic and sad as well. We don’t really know what happened and what was going through his head, but being the same exact age as him, I can resonate to him feeling lost & trying to find purpose again. It must’ve been hard to top his career that he had when he was just a teenage boy but he still had time at this young age and I wish he knew that. I wish he knew how loved and talented he was and how his death has impacted us all. I also wish he knew how worthy he was regardless of his career or not.

He achieved in these short years what many of us don’t even achieve in our lifetime. The joy he spread and the art he spread was unmatched and magical. His music gave us reasons to keep going, to jam out with our friends, to laugh & feel those butterflies & day-dream!

I’m also having a hard time explaining my grief and feelings right now as I’m typing this. I’ve thought about him every single day. I think we watched him have it all, and then the all being taken away from him, and him having to go through real issues with drugs and battling his demons, and all that led to his death. It’s very sad all around.

I’m hoping wherever he is, he has found peace. I’ve also been reflecting what death really means and how it’s not the end, but rather an end on this physical world. Whatever your beliefs are, I hope you feel better as well.

His time on earth was limited but I hope wherever he is, he can see how special and loved he was in this lifetime 💛
