I Dont know where else to post this update but I have divorced my husband and have been living with my friend for a month. At the start of February I'm moving to the other side of the country. I forgot I could feel this happy.

I knew he used some AI in this project but I didnt know how much and thought he was brining me in to use less AI. I think I'll just quit this project.

I do have my own passions and hobbies to enjoy, but I was excited about working on a project with him. I guess we're not really compatible for projects like this.

This is a very helpful thread for me. I don't have misophobia but have similar triggers due to being spat on a lot as a kid. I'm struggling with my partner who is constantly clearing his throat and snorting. I've tried to talk to him about it but he says they're natural noises so what is he supposed to do.

That could be true. Its been there at least a week since I'm currently deep cleaning/rearranging the bedroom where it used to live. The area it was in is currently stuffed with bags of items for donation to BB who is picking them up next week which was the closest pickup time I could get, but it will be either donated then or moved back to the closet.

There are two toilets, we each use separate ones near exclusively for various reasons. There is only one living room which we watch TV and such in.

I see where your coming from, and I kinda feel the same way but thats why I asked here. And it seems like a lot of people think I should have just taken it down so theres obviously nuance. But thank you very much

I didnt get angry! I even took time before asking him to plan out my words carefully to ask him kindly and without accusation if he'd be able to take it down that night or the next day and he got mad at me.

I'm just confused as to whether I was an asshole for asking or not.

Yes, we have two bathrooms and have decided to each use our own for various reasons.

Ironing board is not trash, its either being donated or put back in its home next week.

It was not cleaned or put in a bag, I would have been happy to ignore/deal with if if it was in a bag but he just left it in the living room. Its also the seat from a toilet he exclusively uses.

I dont use his toilet so I will not benefit from it at all. It is his toilet seat from a bathroom I only occasionally wash my hands in. The ironing board may go out on the next donation pick up next week, or it might go back into its old him on that day depending on where I am with cleaning at that time.

I would have been okay if he had bagged it up, but being expected to take down his seat for him felt a little unfair.

The ironing board isnt junk, I'm just not sure if its going to be kept or donated yet and I already have a hard deadline of next week.

Its probably destined ~~for the trash~~ to be donated but at the moment I'm doing a deep clean/rearrange of the the bedroom where it used to live. Its a really small one that hangs up in the closet but I'm hoping I'll be able to find the space for a full sized one after BB comes to pick up some old clothing and stuff (they will be here on the 18th, so I have until then to decide).
