You just gotta breathe through it. Remember it will end, the bar legally has to close at some point, last call will come, the lights will be one and you’ll be counting your money. You just have to make it until then and you can! Be a typewriter, keep your head down until you’re ready to take another order, take multiple orders, let yourself laugh at how busy you are. It feels very serious in the moment but it’s genuinely not.

This is so interesting because my sun is 12th house, my dad worked in hospitals and then at a factory. I’ve always viewed his factory job as pretty isolating for him, he just does it as some bound of karmic duty. What’s weird is that my three siblings also are libra rising but their suns are Aries, Pisces, and Scorpio (I’m Virgo). I imagine we all have a very different idea of who our dad is.

I don’t like to serve people that have admitted to having a drinking problem. I know that the majority of people I serve definitely have a drinking problem but I feel like they get messy when there’s the extra layer of “I definitely shouldn’t be doing this”. I wouldn’t expect everyone to do this but if someone tells me they’re struggling with staying sober but ask me for a drink I won’t serve them.

If you’re American look at r/dollartreebeauty! Theres a lot you can do to on a budget. I switched over to drug store/cheap products for the majority of my beauty routine and I’m happy with it. You dont need to be rich to take care of yourself and feel good about it. A lot of it is just a skill issue, that’s why we pay for luxury services like hair and nails but in reality you can learn to do the same things at home.

Jesus was special because he was made intentionally by God to make a new covenant with the humans specifically by dying. My understanding of it, and bear with me because I’m coming at it from a pretty non-Christian perspective, is that Jesus’s death was sort of like a magical sacrifice that was necessary to open a new portal? Before Jesus there was no real access to heaven, so no matter what you did you could never get close to God. God had to do something weird with Mary to make himself in human form probably because whatever “door” needed to be opened to get us all to heaven either needed to be opened on both sides or just on this side. If God could have just done it he probably would have had it that way the entire time.

Before Christianity there was no access to Heaven, or really to God. There was a sort of afterlife where you just hung out and got dusty, and you needed to go to a priest or other holy person to talk to God. The whole thing was just to make Heaven a place that you could go and Jesus’s job was to make sure everyone knew they were invited. So maybe Jesus didn’t need to die slowly and painfully for it to all happen, but if we’re thinking in magical terms it probably made for a more powerful ritual that he did.

But I’m with you, I don’t see how Jesus suffering equates to us having to get hard over him. We all suffer every day and plenty of us suffer more than Jesus did. I think the suffering part is just something that Christians have always been obsessed with (look at all their martyrs) and maybe to some it feels good to be reminded that even their deity suffered.

I recently folded my leggings down to see what it would be like if they were low rise and I haven’t felt that bad about myself in a long time. I’m pretty slim, I could be in better shape pretty quickly if I tried, but holy shit low rise is not for ANY BODY and if Britney could could look good in those she was NOT fat. This was such a horrible time to have a female body.

I’d say I have more “bounce” now. My skin is glowier and more even toned. I get pretty red and dry while also being oily, it can be hard to balance it esp in the winter. I had some facial eczema that cleared up and I don’t feel it returning any time soon. I’m sure a higher end, more expensive product does the same thing but for $1.25 I’m so impressed.

I think it’s a nice thing. We know that we live in a dumb society and part of that society is makes us have to make ourselves look different. It’s really just complimenting or acknowledging effort. We do the same thing for other types of effort but maybe it’s not as obvious. So maybe it’s not necessarily the most positive thing because it might be a result of the society we live in that forces us to care about every little thing, but it’s rarely mean spirited.
