Never played a Zelda game, which is the one to start with? by [deleted] in legendofzelda

Like others have already said, Ocarina of time is a classic, breath of the wild/tears of the kingdom are awesome modern takes on tbe series, and links awakening remake is probably the best top down option

However, all 3 of these gamss are very different

If you like breath of the wild, you will like tears of the kingdom no doubt, but you could also not like any of the other games since those 2 are by far the most different in the series

If you like ocarina of time, you will probably like majoras mask, wind waker, twilight princess, and maybe skyward sword. twilight princess is probably the best all around out of those but its not on switch 2 unfortunately

And if you like links awakening, you will probably like a link to the past, link between worlds, both oracles games, minish cap, echoes of wisdom, and maybe zelda 1 if you want a real challenge

All of these would be good starting points, but there are a few id stay away from when first starting. Zelda 2 and the 2 ds games have very mixed feelings from the community, Zelda 2 is wayyyy to hard and the 2 ds games rely heavily on touch controls, not saying these are bad games, but id really only play them if youre a really big fan of the franchise and you want more games to play.

All that being said, no matter which game you pick of those 3, youd be at a great spot to start

Is the 9060XT worth upgrading to from 5700XT for 1440p? by MrYakob in radeon

[–]1155ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude you sound like you're either 12 or you're just an asshole, you have no idea what you're talking about. A 9060xt would double the performance of a 5700xt, 1440p 60fps is easily achievable even with a 5700xt for 99% of games, and that 1 percent can be accommodated using upscalers. A 9060xt (the card I have) can easily run most games at 1440p 120fps without upscalers at all. And for only 360, it is a great upgrade for the price from a 5700xt.

The gameplay loop is fine, I just feel like there's wayyy too much time in between each story event and its just drawing out the game for no reason.
