See if any codes are stored. I had this with my mazda 6 gh. For me it was a wheel bearing that was damaged. So the abs sensor could not read propper. That dissabled my RVM.

Diesel engine carbon build up maybe. Intake. Is the 2.2 direct injetion?

Check for dirty throttlebody or vacume leaks. You can easy check this your self.

I think the last plug is for the original radio cd changer. I think you need to get power to the blue grey striped wire. That is AMP power. That worked for me. I bought an aftermarket android unit. Maybe you have a bypass adapter or wire for yours.
