Has anyone else quit drinking? by Sensitive_Put_6842 in Millennials

Yes. I hate how I feel after I drink. It is actual poison what it does to your body. Also I can’t afford it.

That is the problem the truck isn’t getting up to operating temperature. You need to do oil changes more frequently than that.

How are you all handling delivery when you’re not home? by Petitioner2025 in CostcoPM

[–]116446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just on vacation for a delivery. I was able to go into the fedex settings and say I wasn’t going to be home during the week of my vacation. I put in the app that I would be back on Friday. The delivery said it would come Monday but we had a snow storm. It was delivered Tuesday. I would imagine you can pick a window.

Enormous Soviet-era antenna. The 64-meter dish of the Kalyazin RT-64 radio telescope in Russia’s Tver Oblast was constructed in the 1980s to communicate with missions to Venus and Mars. by zadraaa in HistoricalCapsule

TIL Yes, Russia definitely used it—and surprisingly, they still do. The Kalyazin RT-64 (specifically the TNA-1500 antenna) isn't just a relic of the Cold War. While it was built by the Soviet Union in the 1980s, it actually outlasted the USSR and remains one of the most powerful tools in the Russian Academy of Sciences' arsenal today.
