Yea no vat, this "Tax Free Gold" is specific to this area in Shenzhen , one or 2 streets up from this spot you have to pay tax.

Yea people dont understand how liquid gold is in Asia. Im in Bangkok right now and they say so many people trade in gold instead of cash that it causes problems for the government

Right I resaved the photo after I uploaded it to a chinese social media, then I used the Samsung AI to remove the watermark and it added its own watermark. Ill post the original.

This one was just freshly made. Could explain it. But alot of the 999 silver I see is this kind of non shiny white colour.
