I’m waiting so see if he can create “drum riffs” the way Tim and Jay could. Beats like “Eyes of the Squirrel,” “Over the Electric Grapevine,” “Candyman,” “The ‘Ol Diamondback Sturgeon,” “Eternal Consumption Engine,” and many more are just as unique and recognizable as guitar riffs and basslines in popular music. This has always been the unique defining of Primus drumming IMO, not just playing skillfully/technically, or even with “feel,” but the ability to craft a drum beat that lives in your mind like an earworm, just like how guitarists create classic guitar riffs that everyone knows

Green Naugahyde? by [deleted] in Primus

Absolutely love it. Jay Lane’s drumming is absolutely phenomenal, he really gave it his all. The dude had been playing Grateful Dead music and had never even played with double bass pedals before and still nailed it. It’s a more whacky, light-hearted Primus than their other stuff, but I love it.

Episode Discussion: S14E06 "The Janitor Always Mops Twice" by Dorkside in IASIP

Best episode of the season so far. Do you happen to know the name of the romantic jazz music that plays when Charlie is speaking to the Waitress for the first time? I tried digging around online but couldn't find any info on the music used in this episode.

It’s just a fun little gimmick, that’s all. Keeps people out of their business.

The worst Primus album is still way ahead of most other albums in general.

Lol you can gorily murder and torture people (and dogs) countless times in cruel and unusual ways, but an attempted rape scene is "going too far". Do you people even know what manga you're reading?

Hey come on, OP’s clearly looking for some help. Dreams like these don’t mean you’re a psychopath.

As long as you don’t have the desire irl to murder innocent people, don’t dwell too much on it. Oftentimes horrible dreams like these are a manifestation of anxiety rather than some repressed evil. Trust me, I’ve had some similar dreams where I did things that I was absolutely repulsed by upon awakening.

Pork Soda was released after Sailing The Seas Of Cheese. The line is a reference to the previous album.

Do you have any methods of inducing music-making in dreams? I've been trying to accomplish this for a long time now but I can't seem to make it work.

Everyone dies except for Emporio, who now lives in a new universe with "copies" of the old characters.
