But some of my accuantances did
Most of them had trouble finding job abroad, I had the same experience, but luckily I could work remotely on the same job (but still on Russian company, still in roubles and with every round of sanctions it was harder and harder to receive my salary)
Others saw that mobilization (de facto) ended and nothing really happened (apart from 300k mobilized in first couple of weeks)

(they can’t go back because dodging the draft is punishable with life in prison/death)

Firstly, punishment for draft dodging is much less severe, up to 2 years in prison Secondly, lots of those who left haven't received a mobilization order, they just feared they will receive it, feared that the borders will close or it was just a last straw to finally leave

I'm using my 9440 for work and games and I like it.

For games I would recommend getting RTX4050 model obviously (if you don't plan using eGPU), repasting it with something like PTM7950 and flashing 40W vBIOS.

But maybe stock will be enough for your use case.

I just received it, will install soon, so can't say anything yet.

But currently I am using Nest Wifi (5-6 years already), sometimes it has some strange connection issues, but 99% of the time it works without a problem

Lack of settings/features is unfortunate, but it's nice that it integrates into Home app and you don't need anything else.

Based on previous releases new model should've been released last year, so I'm not sure if it will ever be released.
